Let’s learn how to draw Taiju Ooki from Dr.Stone today!
Taiju Ooki (大木大樹 Ōki Taiju) is one of the main protagonists of Dr. Stone series. Taiju is a friend of Senku and Together with him, he nobly aspires to rebuild the lost human civilization by depetrifying everyone caught. He joins the Tsukasa Empire as a spy to help bring it down. After rejoining the Kingdom of Science, he is placed on the Power Team. He is the leader of Farming Division. He has inhuman amounts of endurance which he uses when building things, farming, gathering and he helps with hunting and carrying heavy items.
Taiju is a muscular young man with a strong and sturdy body. He has spiky brown hair, thick eyebrows and two vertical stone markings. One of it starts at his hairline above his left eye and reaches down underneath it, and the other one is located under his right eye. The scars were later removed and replaced with identical drawn ones. He wears a 2-piece, sleeveless cloak that reaches past his knees and is tied together with a rope. He has primitive boots on his feet.
Taiju is a friendly and kind person. Despite being emotional and expressive, he has great control of his temper. He never loses his cool or acts impulsively. Despite his massive strength, he is a pacifist who refuses to fight others because he does not want to hurt them. He’s enthusiastic and diligent worker regardless of the tasks, even the small ones, so long as he proves useful. He has the patience to complete any task no matter how arduous. He tends to yell loudly. He has a straightforward and honest nature. In addition, he tends to easily trust others and believe in the good of others. He is a loyal friend to those he cares for. Though he is considered dumb and limited in understanding of scientific practices, it is shown that he is capable of finding mundane solutions without science and applying the science and knowledge Senku imparts on him and using it to his advantage. He assists with experiments by providing the manpower necessary for them. He also knows his limitations and what he is good and not good at without overestimating himself.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Taiju Ooki from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
