Let’s learn how to draw Yumeko Jabami from Kakegurui today!
Yumeko Jabami (蛇喰 夢子) is the main protagonist of Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler. She’s a transfer student at Hyakkaou Private Academy, which by day educates its pupils in normal subjects, while at night it turns into a gambling den, educating them in the art of dealing with money and manipulating people. She is a natural-born gambler and “Kakegurui”, someone who finds pleasure in taking risks.
Yumeko is an attractive young lady with pale skin. Her black waist length hair has bangs styled in a hime-cut. Her eyes are normally brown, but they tend to turn red whenever she is excited. She wears the standard female school uniform. Under the red blazer with black cuffs and collar is a white button-up dress shirt. The lower part consists of a dark pleated skirt, dark stockings and brown loafers with black soles. She also wears a tie, pale pink lipstick, pink fingernails and a ring around her left thumb.
On the one hand she is very upbeat, charismatic and friendly but on the other hand she is eccentric and her way of gambling doesn’t follow normal conduct. She does not seem to experience fear or anxiety from taking risks. In fact, it gives her a thrill, obvious joy and pleasure. Because of this, she tends to take high-risk bets in gambles, even if she has nothing to rely on but luck. Yumeko has shown to possess above average and near superhuman levels of senses, memory and observation that only increases her gambling abilities combined with her intelligence. She is a person who consistently attracts the affection or interest of people around her.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Yumeko Jabami from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^_-.
