Let’s learn how to draw Cadis Etrama Di Raizel from Noblesse today!
Cadis Etrama Di Raizel (카디스 에트라마 디 라이제르 / カディス・エトラマ・デ・ライジェル) or simply Raizel or Rai, is the main protagonist of the Noblesse Manhwa series. Noblesse is the title of a single Noble (Rai), and was later adopted by Nobles as the name of their race, (some time after Rai went to sleep). They are an ancient and powerful race that possess great strength, speed and telepathy as well as various blood related abilities. Rai is a very charming, elegant, and mysterious Noble from Lukedonia who holds the special title of Noblesse, which distinguishes him from all other Nobles as their hidden protector, their judge, and if necessary, executioner. He had fallen into a deep slumber for 820 years, and had woken up in an abandoned building in South Korea. After seeing what most of the humans on the streets were wearing, Rai took on the uniform of a student from Ye Ran High School, which is under the administration of Frankenstein, and inadvertently followed the students there.
Raizel possesses little knowledge regarding the 21st century, and often tends to be lost and confused especially when interacting with modern-day technology such as cell phones and computers. Rai is extremely handsome and possesses a youthful appearance, scarlet-red eyes, beautiful jet black hair and a quiet disposition and he is usually seen wearing the Ye Ran High School uniform and a silver cross earring on his left ear. Although he seems cold and apathetic on the outside, Raizel has shown compassion towards human beings. Raizel loves the company of the human children he meets at Ye Ran. In fact, he is first called ‘Rai’ by them.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.
Step 11
To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Cadis Etrama di Raizel from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
