Let’s learn how to draw Mirai Kakehashi from Platinum End today!
Mirai Kakehashi (架橋 明日) is one of the main male protagonists in Platinum End series. He was a gloomy middle school student who attempted suicide after graduation. However, he had a fated encounter with an angel instead and was selected to be a god candidate.
He is a tall young man with straight dark hair that fall just above his shoulders. His brown eyes have a perpetually glum expression. He was often seen wearing his high school uniform.
When he was seven years old, Mirai’s family died in an apparent accident and he was taken in by his closest relatives. Despite suffering constant abuse as a child from his relatives, Mirai did not hate anyone nor hold any grudges. Before meeting his angel Nasse, Mirai was incredibly depressed and was on the verge of killing himself. Unlike a majority of the God Candidates, Mirai has no interest in becoming God. He also has a strong moral compass, believing that not just anybody should be allowed to become God.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Mirai Kakehashi from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
Draw with passion! ^_^
