Let’s learn how to draw Milim Nava from Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken today!
Milim Nava (ミリム・ナーヴァ mirimu nāva) is one of the supporting protagonists of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime series. She is one of the oldest and strongest Demon Lords of the Octagram (The Eight-Star Demon Lords), known as the “Destroyer,” a demon lord with the threat level of “Catastrophe”. Although she is the one and only existing Dragonoid (an offspring between True Dragons and Humans) she looks like a regular human girl at the age of a teenager. She is the child of the True dragon Veldanava and Lucia.
She has long glossy pink hair tied in twin-tails and blue eyes. She usually wears a black clothes that barely cover her body and red boots. Over the knee sock on one leg, and suspender belt on the other. In battle mode she has crimson horn adorning her forehead, a black skimpy dress, jet black armor cladding her body and she can also sprout her wings.
Milim is a carefree individual, the most short-tempered and childish Demon Lord. She just wants to do something that could stimulate her and to stave off her boredom. Treating her like a kid or weakling will arouse her anger or violence. However she can also maintain a perfect poker face and completely control her emotions. She can also get really furious to the point in which calming her anger is not something that can be accomplished without any cost. She considers Rimuru as her only “True Friend” and her “Bestie”, despite the fact that she didn’t have anyone she considered a true friend before.
Step 1
As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Step 3
Step 4
Step 5
Step 6
Step 7
Step 8
Step 9
Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.
Step 10
Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.
Step 11
To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Milim Nava from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
Draw with passion! ^_^
