Omaru Polka (尾丸ポルカ) is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the Hololive 5th Generation. Polka is a quarter-part fennec, circus-less ring mistress, who joined hololive in hopes of becoming the ringmaster of the VTuber world and turn Hololive into her circus.
Some describe Polka as “not a clown, but the entire circus.” She is natural born joker, known for her silliness, spunk and unpredictability. She is very energetic and outgoing with a distinctive laugh. She often speaks faster than even native Japanese listeners are capable of understanding. She also has an array of various instruments at her disposal (which include but are not limited to: bells, rotary phone, glockenspiel, vibraslap and rubber chickens). She enjoys wowing audiences with acrobatics, and lives by the words: “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
Polka is a fennec girl, and according to her, her grandfather was a fennec fox too. She likes garlic and hates gravity and humidity. Her fanbase is officially called “Omaruza” おまる座. Polka’s representative mark is a circus tent (🎪). A bell (🔔) is also associated with Polka by her fans because of her prolific use of it in streams. She often complained about her outdated desktop, which leads to western fans calling her desktop a “Poltato PC” (Polka+potato). She is not very good at video games and occasionally displays poor sense of direction when playing games. However she likes free-short games, TRPGs and horror games. Polka is also knowledgeable about 90s and 2000s anime and otaku culture and is touchy about her age. Despite being a circus performer, she is not good at juggling or walking on thin beam/wire. Instead, she is known for demonstrating various voices in her videos, streams and singing, even using seven voices in one video. She has multiple shapes inside her pupils, hearts and stars appear when she is happy, clovers when she is sad and spades when angry. All these shapes are suits in playing cards, with the exception of having stars instead of diamonds. She debuted with her original song HOLOGRAM CIRCUS.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Omaru Polka from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
