Let’s learn how to draw Akai Haato from hololive 1st Generation today!
Akai Haato (赤井はあと) is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the Hololive 1st Generation. She is a sassy kouhai. She is often prickly, though she manages to demand lots of attention from those with whom she has been getting along well. She loves red ribbons and heart shapes.
Haato appears to be a classic tsundere who teases her fans and sometimes flusters easily. She has also been referred to as seiso (pure) by even the higher ups (managers, ect.). However, after the introduction of her own nickname as “Haachama”, originally intended as a less formal nickname to “Haato-sama”, her personality underwent a radical change to the point that the fanbase started considering Haato and Haachama as two different personas. But as time went on, it became very clear that they became separate entities. In spite of their extreme differences, they both share some common traits such as using cropped lewd art as video thumbnails, and questionable cooking skills.
Her fanbase is officially called “Haaton” (はあとん,”Haato” + “ton”(豚 pig)). They are represented by a yellow plush pig with a notable beheaded mark around their necks that also works as her mascot. She is able to speak some English due to studying abroad in Australia. She enjoys playing games that are designed to frustrate players.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Akai Haato from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
