Ninomae Ina’nis (一伊那尓栖/にのまえいなにす) is an English Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the Hololive English 1st Generation. She is the fourth hololive EN member. One day, Ina’nis picked up a strange book and then started to gain the power of controlling tentacles. She appears to be inspired by the Lovecraftian mythos and the book she found is likely a reference to the Necronomicon. Her tentacles are just a part of her ordinary life and never been a problem. Despite her appearance, Ina’nis claims to be human. After gaining power, she started hearing Ancient Whispers and Revelations. Hence, she began her VTuber activities to deliver random sanity checks on humanity, as an ordinary girl.
Ina is gentle, considerate, kind, peaceful and down-to-earth. She has already gained a reputation to be the most tranquil of HoloEN bunch. She is a soft-spoken yet sociable individual with an easy-going temperament. She is very loving and aware towards her fellow members. She is known for her dry delivery of “dad jokes” and octopus-related puns.
She is a very talented artist and illustrated multiple promotional content for HoloEN as well as the majority of assets she uses for her vtuber activities. Her goals are drawing every hololive member, improving her Japanese and singing skills, making lots of collaboration streams and friends. Ina likes food, drawing, gaming, reading and sometimes cooking. She doesn’t like bugs, being bored, and cucumbers. Her fanbase is officially called the “Tentacult”. Ina is very engaged in popular culture with massively diverse tastes, enjoying a large variety of genres in an equally large pool of mediums. Ina herself acknowledges her verbal tic, often written as “humu humu” and has even made it into a subscriber icon. Her representative emote is an octopus.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Ninomae Ina’nis from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
