Let’s learn how to draw Kageyama Shien from Holostars 3rd Generation today!
Kageyama Shien (影山シエン) is a male Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the Holostars 3rd Generation and formerly known as TriNero (トライネロ) before Tsukishita Kaoru’s retirement, now known as MaFia (魔フィア). He is a mafia boss from the land of beastmen, who came to our world in search of his missing best friend.
Shien is a jackal described as someone who acts tougher than he really is, but doesn’t have the talent to be truly evil. In fact, he’s more of a fun-loving and goofy person who makes people laugh. However, sometimes, he can be quite dumb and naive, even baby-like. Despite him being a mafia boss, he can’t do anything without his subordinates and also despite having good ears, he doesn’t seem to listen to anyone.
His fanbase is officially called “Shiengumi” (シエン組), though he usually calls his fans his “subordinates” (部下たち). His mascot is a cat named “Nekoyama Shien” (猫山シエン). He also has two minions, “Koyama” (小山) and “Nakayama” (中山). His favorite foods are Anmitsu (Japanese dessert), and Omurice (Omelet rice). He doesn’t like oysters and his favorite animal is the kuroshiba. His fetish is asses without thigh gaps, as when the legs are closed, it jiggles due to the “fleshiness”.

As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.

Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.

Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.

To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Kageyama Shien from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
