Let’s learn how to draw Kureiji Ollie from hololive ID 2nd Generation today!
Kureiji Ollie (クレイジー・オリー) is a female Indonesian Virtual YouTuber associated with hololive, as part of the hololive Indonesia 2nd Generation. Kureiji is a zombie high school girl risen from her grave. She headed home, relying on memories retained from when she was still alive. However, meanwhile her home turned into a ramen shop. So, in order to reclaim her house, she decided to become a VTuber.
Because Ollie is a zombie, her skin tone alternates between her natural, but still cadaveric coloration, which is light gray and the darker places where replacement flesh was stitched on. Ollie’s bun-style hair is gray and red. Her right eye is mixture of green and red color and features a diamond shaped pupil. However her left eye appears to be a yellow button. She has right ear pierced with a soda can pop-top. She wears a torn up costume, which she claims was eaten by rats. She also has mismatched shoes because they were “too cute” to decide between. She has a sword stuck in her head and mascot called Udin hangs from it. It is a half blue and purple stuffed bear with “dead eyes” and visible stitches with a black bow on top.
Ollie is extraordinarily hyperactive, very cheerful, easy-going, quite loud and rowdy chaotic zombie, who occasionally talks very quickly in Bahasa Indonesia, English as well as Japanese. She has a tendency to scream at unexpected events. Ollie is also very caring and pays a lot of attention to her friends and supporters. She never misses an opportunity to crack a joke. SIMPing is her hobby and she is able to imitate other hololive seniors quite well. She seems to be very aware of internet and meme culture.
She likes Spicy food, sweets, strawberry milk, eating, cooking, drawing, reading, gaming, simping and Disney. Ollie dislikes filthy things, coffee, fruits, especially cabbages and being kept waiting. Her fanbase is officially called “Zomrades“ (zombie + comrades) and members are called “Zomily” (zombie + family).
Step 1
As always all the blue and green lines are just construction lines and will be erased later so do not push on your pencil too much ^_^ I will try to be super efficient with the text so will only describe steps that require some explanation.
Make sure to leave enough free space on paper for next steps. You can see how much space you will need from the size of the paper on this picture.
Step 2
Step 3
Step 4
Step 5
Step 6
Step 7
Step 8
Step 9
Lighten all the construction lines by “stamping” the kneaded eraser on the paper. Make sure to refer to the picture bellow as you need to ink only some parts of the construction lines.
Step 10
Wait till the ink is nice and dry and erase all the construction lines.
Step 11
To add colors, make sure to sketch the color outlines with the right color or pencil first.
If your goal is to become a real Mangaka and design your own manga characters make sure to try to draw Kureiji Ollie from memory several times. Always compare the drawing to the original and correct any mistakes you see. Do this till you are happy with the result. It doesn’t have to look exactly the same, don’t sweat the details. The point is that you get the main shapes right and that it looks good. This is the best way to build a huge library of manga shapes in your memory that you can use to draw and design your own manga characters ^-^.
Draw with passion! ^_^
